the Community Easter Egg Hunt
will be held the next day.

Grateful Dogs will be present
for the Gastineau Humane Society
Run Fur Fun fundraiser
run/walk/dog event.
GDOJ will share the
message of responsible dog
ownership and organize a poop
scoop of the Mendenhall
Campground following the fun
run.

MEETING
Grateful Dogs of Juneau
2017 Annual Membership Meeting
January 15, Sunday, 1 pm
Directions to the meeting are
below:
Grateful
Dogs of Juneau will hold its annual
membership meeting this coming Sunday, Jan.
15. The meeting will begin at 1 pm.
The meeting should conclude by 3 pm.
The meeting
will elect members to the board of directors
for Grateful Dogs, review events and
activities for 2016, and discuss planning
for 2017.
All members
of Grateful Dogs are invited and urged to
attend. Interested persons are
welcome.
The meeting
is an ideal time to renew your membership
for 2017.
MEETING LOCATION:
The GDOJ annual meeting will be held at the
McLaughlin residence at 197 Enos Street in
the Twin Lakes Area. From Glacier
Highway near the Salmon Creek/Hospital
Intersection, turn onto Wire Street between
the public health center and Jack's
Plumbing, then take the first right turn
onto Enos Street (dirt road), then proceed
to the end of the street.

HOLIDAY
PET FOOD DRIVE
Grateful
Dogs conducted the 7th Holiday Pet Food
drive just before last Christmas.
The pet
food drive was a wonderful success.
The GRAND TOTAL collected was 1680 pounds of dog and cat food. GDOJ collected a record amount of pet food. This years record collection exceeded the previous record by over 50%. GDOJ also received a check for $250.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2016 holiday pet food drive.

VALLEY: Carrs/Safeway, Super Bear IGA, Southeast Alaska Animal Medical Center, Tongass Veterinary Services, Juneau Veterinary Hospital, Canines Unlimited, Curves, Doggie Do’s Grooming & Pet Sitting, and Coastie Cutters.Please remember that Southeast Alaska Animal Medical Center now accepts donations of new and opened packages of dog and cat food on behalf of Grateful Dogs of Juneau. The donations may be made during normal business hours. Grateful Dogs will deliver the donations to the Southeast Alaska Food Bank.
